How to Join

Step 1: Club Registration

Complete the club registration form available here.

Send the completed package to the Membership Officer (membership@karatenwt.org)

Step 2: NWTKA Review

The NWTKA Membership Officer will review the application form and required documentation.  If there is any missing information, he/she will contact the applicant club to retrieve the information.

Step 3: Approval / Rejection

After consultation with fellow board members the application will be either:

  • Accepted as Probationary Club Member with a probationary period of one year.  Probation means these members cannot exercise their vote at any Annual General Meeting or Special Meetings during that period and they cannot run for a board position during that time.  Once the probationary period has expired a club is automatically recognized as a Club Member.
  • Rejected.

Step 4: Individual Membership Registration

Have all your members complete the Application for Individual Membership.

All head instructors require a Police Check (including vulnerable persons check).  Contact the Membership Officer to request a letter from the NWTKA. You will receive an account invitation for our online membership system (Martial Member) to register all your members and will be invoiced as per our structure fee.
